Academisation Development Consultation

Following the Archdiocese’s vision to strengthen Catholic education through larger, flourishing Catholic Multi-Academy Trusts, St Raphael the Archangel CMAT was established on 1 September 2026.

The next proposed phase is for Pope Francis Catholic MAC, Holy Cross Catholic MAC, Romero Catholic Academy and eleven Voluntary Aided schools to join St Raphael the Archangel CMAT on 1 September 2027. This consultation provides an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the proposal and share their views on the future of Catholic education across our communities.

As part of the process, we are now consulting the parents, parishes, and community of our schools for the period 4th September 2026 to 16th October 2026. See letter here  which includes a form to send your comments.

Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School

Welcome to Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School which is part of the Romero Catholic Academy. Our mission statement “learning and loving on our journey with Jesus” is at the heart of our school day. We recognise that each child is unique, both in their personality and in their talents. Our dedicated teachers and support staff work diligently to ensure that each child’s experience allows them to flourish and grow and fulfil their potential.

Our vision is based on nurturing our children to be the leaders of tomorrow. Leaders who will care for God’s creation and make a difference to the lives of others. Trustworthy leaders who will use their gifts and talents to bring a balance and strength to those around them. Curious leaders who are not afraid to question or learn from mistakes. Leaders who seek the truth.

We are immensely proud of the relationship we have with our parents and the local community. We work together to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries or suggestions you may have.
