Academisation Development Consultation
Following the Archdiocese’s vision to strengthen Catholic education through larger, flourishing Catholic Multi-Academy Trusts, St Raphael the Archangel CMAT was established on 1 September 2026.
The next proposed phase is for Pope Francis Catholic MAC, Holy Cross Catholic MAC, Romero Catholic Academy and eleven Voluntary Aided schools to join St Raphael the Archangel CMAT on 1 September 2027. This consultation provides an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the proposal and share their views on the future of Catholic education across our communities.
As part of the process, we are now consulting the parents, parishes, and community of our schools for the period 4th September 2026 to 16th October 2026. See letter here which includes a form to send your comments.
Welcome to our new look website. We have been busy developing some new ideas over the last few months and have added some new features to the site including ParentLink, links to popular pages and some lovely images of our school and our pupils. We make every effort to keep parents informed about activities and events which take place within the school. The school newsletter is published every week and is available online under our News section.

Welcome to Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School which is part of the Romero Catholic Academy.
